Being approved supplier to a large local authority contractor and appointed as their designated rapid response maintenance provider we at Godiva have vast experience in local authority type work. We are regularly contracted to supply and erect access scaffolding for the maintenance of existing properties; chimney repairs, rendering works, roof and down pipe repairs, stonework and window maintenance, internal and external painting. The list is endless and we at Godiva Scaffolding will provide a safe working platform to any property whether that is a private dwelling, block of flats or a commercial building, you can rely on us.
Working in the rapid response unit we have direct contact with tenants, and work closely with these �end clients� ensuring their needs are met within the remit of the contract and with minimum disruption. Helping to facilitate the compromise between the residents expectations and the specifications of the project is all part of the Godiva service.

Godiva are often recommended for unusual contracts, particularly for those inaccessible areas. We are the perfect choice for access scaffolds required within ovens, tanks, gantries, etc as we are vastly experienced, holding all relevant certification as well as insurance for working within confined spaces.
When appropriate, all works are undertaken at times that cause the minimum disruption and disturbance to local residence. If the contract is in an area with the potential for vandalism or illegal access we can fix corrugated iron sheets to the perimeter of the scaffold to prevent anyone injuring themselves and for extra security.
Wherever there is the potential for contamination we ensure our scaffold structure is fully sealed to prevent any debris from affecting the surrounding area as well as stopping adverse weather from entering and damaging the repair and maintenance work.
For an additional precaution against inclement weather all our staff are expertly trained in the erection of temporary roofs providing ideal working conditions and further protection to your project. Due to the need for lateral stability and resistance to wind uplift of a temporary roofing structure, it is usually advisable to seek the help of a structural engineer. At Godiva we have our own Design Engineers who can provide drawings and supporting calculations when required.
